By using our services, submitting a device for repair or modification, or purchasing products from TheSween.com or affiliated platforms, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services Provided
We offer console repair, diagnostics, modification, upgrades, cleaning, and related services. All services are performed to the best of our professional ability based on the condition of the device at the time of service.
2. Modding Disclaimer
Console modifications may:

Void manufacturer warranties
-
Violate platform terms of service (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, etc.)
-
Result in online bans, account restrictions, or loss of access to online services
TheSween.com is not responsible for bans, suspensions, or restrictions imposed by console manufacturers or online services after modding. The customer accepts full responsibility for the use of modified consoles.
3. Repair Risks & Pre-Existing Conditions
Electronics repair involves inherent risks. Devices may have:

Hidden damage

Prior failed repairs
-
Liquid damage
-
Corrosion or component fatigue
While every precaution is taken, TheSween is not liable for device failure due to pre-existing issues or complications beyond reasonable control.
4. Data & Software Responsibility
Customers are responsible for backing up all data before service.
We are not responsible for loss of data, games, accounts, or saved content resulting from repairs, mods, resets, or hardware failure.
5. Parts & Warranty

Repairs may use OEM, refurbished, or high-quality aftermarket parts

Warranty (if offered) applies only to the specific repair performed

Warranty does not cover:

Physical damage
-
Liquid damage
-
Power surges
-
Unauthorized repairs or tampering after service

Warranty terms (duration and coverage) will be disclosed at time of service.
6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed

Diagnostics fees are non-refundable

Deposits (if required) are non-refundable once work has begun
Unpaid devices may be withheld until payment is received.
7. Abandoned Devices
Devices left unclaimed for 30 days after service completion may be considered abandoned.
Abandoned devices may be sold or disposed of to recover costs.
8. Limitation of Liability
TheSween’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the service performed.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, profits, or data.
9. Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service for any reason, including but not limited to:

Devices in unsafe condition

Suspected stolen property
-
Abusive or threatening behavior
10. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a device or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
